Dear Parents/ Queridos padres,
I hope this email finds you well and ready to start our new school year. I am looking forward to seeing you and your student on Monday, August 9 (grades K-8). Though we had hoped to be free from the fears of Covid, we continue to have high Covid numbers in the West Tampa area. I assure you that we at St. Joseph will be working diligently to provide your child the best quality education while keeping them safe.
In an effort to keep our students and staff safe, all members of the St. Joseph community will wear masks until the Covid numbers are low. In addition, there will be extra cleaning on the campus. I hope this will be short term and we will be able to return to normal soon.

Espero que este correo electrónico lo encuentre bien y listo para comenzar nuestro nuevo año escolar. Espero verlos a usted y a su estudiante el lunes 9 de agosto (grados K-8). Aunque esperábamos estar libres de los temores de Covid, seguimos teniendo números altos de Covid en el área de West Tampa. Les aseguro que en St. Joseph trabajaremos diligentemente para brindar a sus hijos la mejor educación de calidad mientras los mantenemos seguros.
En un esfuerzo por mantener seguros a nuestros estudiantes y personal, todos los miembros de la comunidad de St. Joseph usarán máscaras hasta que los números de Covid sean bajos. Además, habrá limpieza adicional en el campus. Espero que esto sea a corto plazo y que pronto podamos volver a la normalidad.

Cancelled Meet the Teacher
Because of COVID-19 the Meet the Teacher Night scheduled for August 6 has been cancelled. Teachers will be sending information for a virtual Meet the Teacher during the week of August 17. Thank you, we hope you are staying safe, and have a great rest of summer.
